Build a presence on a platform that makes sense for your brand.

Pinterest has AMAZING SEO, so don’t write it off as a dying platform.

Know the kind of content you want to create and eliminate distractions.

It’s always helpful to have your personal flavor in your personal brand. All of those things that are weird about you, that can be built into your personal brand. You want people to be able to start a conversation with you.

 Feedback & Collaboration

Be open to hearing real feedback that’s constructive and collaborative.

Think about 5 individuals or brands that you could collaborate with next week.

Content

Create the kind of mind-blowing content that your audience can’t wait to watch.

You need to know what your audience really wants. List five interesting people who are in your space and look at their content. Admire the content, and then look at how can you do that with the filter of your personal brand lens.

What Are Your 3 Brand Keywords?

What are the adjectives that you want people to relate to you? Ask 2 of your friends/colleagues.

If you have one simple message, press will be able to cover you much more easily. Press wants a simple message.

  • The more you know your own brand, the easier it is for press and PR to work with you.
  • You want press to know who you are QUICKLY.
