Most businesses have a Facebook page but unfortunately are not using them to their full advantage. Today I will explore four advanced Facebook Business Page strategies to get more conversions and customers. Make every action on Facebook equal results!
Effective Strategies for Your Facebook Business Page
Get More Exposure for Your Special Offers
Drive traffic to you Facebook Business Page by sharing special offers at a scheduled time / day on a regular basis, such as once a week or even once a day at a specific time. An example of this could be a special deal, discount or giveaway for those who share or like your post. If your customers know you’re going to be posting a deal on your product on a regular basis, it gives them something specific to look forward to and gives them a reason to come back to your Facebook page. This is an advantage because your customers will constantly have your business on their mind, which is NEVER a bad thing.
Use the “Call to Action” Feature
Facebook Pages added a “call to action” feature which allows users to create a button at the top of your page. It also tracks how many people are clicking on a specific link and are interested in what your business is offering. This button can link to whatever page or website you want your customers or potential customers to go. Options available under the “Call to Action” feature are:
- Book Now
- Watch Video
- Contact Us
- Use App
- Shop Now
- Play Game
Utilize Auto Play Videos
Thanks to the Internet, an adult’s attention span has become similar to that of a small child. Adults are drawn to things that move, flash and catch the eye. Take advantage of this by posting auto-play videos on to your Facebook business page. Auto-play videos are videos that start to play as the viewer scrolls past them. The idea behind this is to catch the viewer’s eye by the movement and get them to stop and watch the whole video. If you don’t believe videos are effective for getting attention then consider the fact that video posts tend to outperform other types of posts, with an organic reach of 8.71%, higher than both text-only posts (5.77%) and photo posts (3.73%)
Press the Boost Button
A easy built-in way for businesses to get more attention with Facebook advertising. If you have a very important post, such as advertising a sale or an instant, online-only special offer, you can give it that extra push by hitting the “boost” button. The boost feature allows you to:
- Send those who click the post directly to your website
- Reach a wider audience
- Increase your customer base
- Highlight pictures
- Schedule posts for “prime time”- i.e. times when a large percentage of your customer base tends to be online
- Target posts toward certain demographics
- View post performance
These are just some advanced strategies for Facebook Business Pages. Keep following along because there will be more to come.
