Embracing Machine Learning and AI With Advanced Schema
Resulting from a collaboration between search engine and data companies, structured data markup – commonly described as schema – has been around for quite a while as a way to classify pages on the web.
In more recent times Google has leveraged the addition of schema code to build search features like review stars, FAQ and video thumbnails. These have the potential to help searchers find what they’re looking for, and also helps business owners by providing better conversion from search results.
Google has also pioneered the growth and use of machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms to better classify the web. This has created a unique opportunity for business owners to use structured data markup to teach the algorithm exactly what their page is about and what it’s associated with.
In this presentation, I’ll show how you can increase the value of your content marketing campaigns, product listing, interlinking, or even branding using advanced schema markup.
