John J. Nosal serves as the Director of Interactive Marketing and Web Development for Advice Local. He wears many hats, juggles multiple projects and keeps the digital and Web assets for the company’s brands. John shares his expertise by writing, speaking and podcasting on all things digital.
As an Internet geek, he recognized, early on, the needs of small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs) for website design, search engine optimization (SEO), Internet marketing and consulting services.
John is active in the SEO community, serving as co-organizer for the Dallas Interactive Marketing & Internet SEO/SEM Meetup, which gives him the opportunity to develop relationships and learn from others, while influencing actual SEO practices currently used by others.
He has more than 25 years experience in publishing, marketing and Internet software, having served in a technical role, supporting the website development tools Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Fireworks, Flash and FreeHand.
John’s interest in computers and need for finding better ways to accomplish tasks continues to be a driving factor for him to leverage new technology and tools.
